About the author:
Alina Żerańska grew up in Warsaw where she learned Polish cooking and entertaining from her mother. She attended the Sorbonne in Paris where she studiedjournalism and the history of art. After emigrating to America, she perfected her writing at Penn State University, then began a career as a journalist, radio script writer, and lecturer.
